Still don't have an obvious solution, but it'a massive relief to see all those posts which echo my experience with the lack of support, and the thoughts of switching to VB. I though I was missing something. If nothing, else, just showing that thread to my client will backup what I've been telling him.

I quoted the whole project in VFP, and was talking to him yesterday about having to switch to VB. Not the kind of thing I like to say.

I'll look through the thread some more, and maybe contact the original poster.
