We are talking about winform applications, not the Web side of .NET. The web stuff seems to be great, however, the winforms stuff is going to change significantly in next releases with a great risk of having to rewrite you application again.

Would you have made a VB6 database application 4 years ago if you only knew it what you do now ???

Narrow? at least I did think out of the MS box (Delphi).....
Narrow? at least I anticipate on movements in the next few years...
Narrow? at least I wait for a technology to grow up and see what happens in stead of jumping the next hype.
Narrow? at least I recognize that I´m not the only one waiting for .NET to become mature. Why do you think MS expectations of the adaption of .NET in the corporate world does not meet expectations ?

You´ve got a funny way of thinking rod?

>I am not going to debate the merits of .NET with you. No matter what argument/issue people raise you simply don't hear or care to hear.

Look who´s talking....
