Sorry for not getting back to you. I've been out for about a week. There are some good libraries that tie into networks (NetLib for one). Take a look at halogram's website for some options within VFP. I don't know what functions they have available for determining locks since I haven't used them since Fox 2.0, but I'm sure that the companies that make the libraries could supply you with a function sheet explaining what they have available. Guess I never thought of determining that within the application although it does make sense to have a administrative function to do that sort of thing.
