Not AFAIK. Even the ActiveX tabstrip control has the same height of the tabs and it doesn't appear to be changeable either.

You might want to play with using a set of graphical stlye checkboxes above a tabless pageframe. You have to use a sort of inverse logic though, set all checkboxes .t. but one, ignore a click on the checkbox if it's value is .f., a click on another resets all the others to .t. and itself to .f. and set the pgf.ActivePage as appropriate. You won't quite have the same visual feel but if space is is that critical that saving a few pixels is worth the effort you can play around with it.
