OK. I'll try to explain better. Lets say you were a clipper programmer in '93. Since Clipper was not going Windows, you're looking for a new development tool. FPW 2.5 seems attractive because it offers you to make Windows applications in a simular programming environment (IOW not running in a DOS box). However, you knew that MS was developping VFP 3 which was significantly different. Would you jump FPW 2.6 ??
