I am not argueing with you about this - you're right. Assembler is source code. Nor I am saying .NET is next to useless because of that. I was just saying is next to useless to have an almost non-modifiable source code, and I presume you'll agree with this. The problem with .NET is it's much easier to get a modifiable source code.

In other words, I don't care if someone get my source code, as long as it's almost impossible to modify it. The new exe will still show my name and my phone number. If that person manages somehow to change and adapt the source code for his use, then that person deserves my source code, I'd say. But if the new exe shows that person's name and phone with very little work/no work at all, that is a completely different story.
