I guessed you thinking that the combo box in bound to one of the column in the grid. But the cmbo_fruit is somewhere on the form, not on the grid. The grid is for displaying purpose only, the cmbo_fruit on the form is the only place where user can add or modify the data. I hope I cleared the problem. TIA
