1st - I like your thread title, I was wondering when it would get to that direct an attack, but don't discourage JVP too much, he adds humor to my day.
2nd - I also agree the developer and his skills are much more important than the tool. One of the things I like about the VFP developers is (in general) they have a lot of experience in it. Nobody has more than a couple years experience in .Net and just because there are a billion VB programmers I am quite certain their average skill level is much lower (not saying there arn't great VB programmers, but there are a lot of bad ones). Take this example, would you rather go to a skilled surgeon with more basic, proven tools or would you prefer the med student with latest high power laser gizmo cutting into you?
