Why is it that I cannot access, or see, a record just created in the current data session. However, if I open another VFP session and then the table, in question, I can then see and access the new record.

Debugging this is difficult to say the least. Is this a locking or unlocking thing? Can a record that is there be so hidden that even VFP cannot find it? I have reindexed, so I know that that isn't the problem.

There is no data buffering and we are not using TABLEUPDATE().
