>The bottom line Walter, you are a Fox-knob that continues with knee-jerk responses that Fox is always better and everything else sucks. Fox-knobs as a class - are people that are incapable of objective/reasoned technical discussions and basically, are in denial and get personally incensed at the fact that the other 99% of the development world (including MS itself) has tossed FoxPro onto the pile of irrelevant/obselete technology.
Man John, why don't you tell us what you really think? :-)
Seriously, the organization I am currently working in pretty much decided to stop VFP development and move to .NET, with some existing VFP and VB6 application mods and upgrades still being made. I personally have been working more in .NET and will continue this path because I just don't see a long term future for VFP in any broad based sense (IMO of course).
Nevertheless, are you genuinely convinced that those ( most or all ) who show strong loyalty to VFP since it continues to support and serve them well are as you describe in your description above?
