I've got both and have never seen anything like this - the only thing I have found is Visual Source Safe and VFP and opening projects with Norton AV.

>I'm trying to develop on a new generic XP pro 2.66GHz machine with both VFP 8 and VS.Net installed. The constant waits while the OS goes out to stare into the weeds for 10-45 seconds periodically is driving me nuts. Is anyone else out there having any similar problems? I've been on-line with MS for a couple of weeks now trying to beat this thing into submission and I'm about ready to wipe it and to back to W2K.
