>I am still going through one of those IRS deals from January of last year. The letter I got from them last week said I could expect a reply to my appeal within 90 days. Well that may not seem read bad but the this is the 3rd year in a row that I have had to fight the exact same battle so I was able to send the page and paragraph of the reference and all the letters that they sent last year before they finally decided that I did not have to make quarterly deposit of money that I didn't owe them in the first place so I really don't owe them $200 penalty + interest. I even told them where the error was in their program that causes the orginal exception letter to be generated. 3 years later and the problem still exists. At least they seem a lot nicer than they use to.

Sounds like a reason to thank God for small favors.< s >
