Sim, isto pode ocorrer: VFP usa tudo índice que concorda com uma parte da expressão a ser optimizada - nao faz um análise detalhado, se isto vai faze-lo mais rápido, ou mais devagar. O problema são os índices que selecionan muitos registros para um só valor. Veja também o meu FAQ #8109.
