I am probably asking the most simple question. I am trying to get a telephony control working supplied by ExcelTel Teletools. In opening a telephone line via a modem, sample code in VB, Delphi and C++ requires the folowing code before opening the line :-

If etTAPPI1.ACTIVE
etTappI1.Close
Endif

My problem is this..
How come I cannot find the etTAPT.ACTIVE property within the foxpro form designer ? . Nor can I call the property from code. - I get the OLE error code 0x8002006: Unknown name error.

Also when I look up the ACTIVE property in the help screen, it is explained just like any other property.

I think I must be yet again in one of those concept misunderstanding modes. Any help or discussion would be greatly appreciated

Thanks
John Harriss
