I have a VFP 8.0 form that has tens of dropdown lists. each dropdown list typically has 5 to 10 choices. the client wants each list to auto open when a user either clicks on the combo box or if the user tabs to it.

so i put in this code in the GOTFOCUS event of each combo box:
KEYBOARD '{ALT+DNARROW}'

however the results are not quite what i expected. as i TAB through the form each drop down list automatically opens. however if I click on a particular drop down list, it flashes and does not display the list of choices. only a second click opens the drop down list as expected.
