I would place the field on a line that exists in its own section. For example, if the address fields are in the Details section I would insert another Details section into the report and place the address field in the new section. When you open up the Section Expert, I think you might be able to play with the "Suppress if Blank" option to conditionally suppress that section if the field is empty.
