Hello John,

In this post I was only commenting on the percentage/polling issue. I don't disagree that VFP will have an end to it's lifecycle at some point, but so will .Net and all other current platforms. I think MS has made mistakes in the past (present & future) and not promoting VFP was one of them. People should use whatever tool they are most productive in as long as they can make a good living at it. For me, it is still VFP!

>Based on what is happening today in the I/T world, where would you say things are going? Where are efforts being focused upon? Who is writing about Fox - other than FPA, FoxTalk, and the UT Mag? Certainly not Code anymore. Based on what is clearly non-scientific data and what is made up of casual observations, I think it is reasonable to say that 99% of the I/T world out there has a decidedly negative viewpoint of Fox. Are their opinions informed or reasonable? Probably not. Nonetheless, IMO, that is the percpetion out there and why you see ads like the one Mike Yearwood posted.
