The printers are evidently using different fonts or the fontmetrics for the font differ between the computers-O/S-printers. Are either you or your user using a Large Font or Extra Large font video mode?

For example, my development environment includes the HP Laser Jet II printer driver. When I send an app to a client that has another kind of printer (such as a LexMark for example) a report might show all "*"'s in the numeric fields whereas on my machine the report prints fine.
