I have been reading about API calls in VB .NET and I found that in order to pass an instance of a structure to API, i have to apply an attribute called:

LayoutKind

in the structures itselft, so my question is, what advatage do i obtain from using:

LayouKind.Sequential or LayoutKind.Explicit.

Is there any performance differences?
