>Change is a fact of life and eventually those that refuse to accept it will be left behind. I could accept the liberal position much easier if 'change' did not encompass more taxes and a socialist government! :o) That is in fact the direct opposite of the Jeffersonians. (I'm afraid the 'liberals' are getting a bad rap these days) *G*
Interesting point Tracy! If as I have expressed the Conservatives are like Plato’s Apologia, which is “you owe everything to the state”, then you must take the opposite viewpoint “the state owes you everything”! Perhaps that is indeed what one must state as the Liberal agenda. I do believe in helping those in need but then you have the problem of “who needs help, how much, for how long and at what cost”? :)
