Something else to consider is the priorities of each language team...as suggested, looking ahead to Whidbey (the next release of VS .NET), the C# team is adding some advanced OOP features not available in VB .NET, and the VB .NET team is adding some ease-of-use enhancements not available in C#...this is where you need to determine which of these priorities most fits your needs.

Another consideration is cross-platform compatibility (if this means something to you). C# is a universal language (submitted by Microsoft and adopted by ECMA). This means you'll be able to write C# code in the future that runs on non-Microsoft platforms. There is already the Mono Project (http://www.go-mono.com/) that is an effort to create an open source version of the .NET Framework...and they have a compiler for the C# language.
