Gaylen,

>Thanks David - Great ideas. How do you like the small business server.
>Since I just found out the client want to buy another server just for data would you recommend the Small business 2003 server. About 20 user - 5 VFP file server apps which are used pretty heavy.

SBS is NOT intended to be added to an existing network -- it is designed to be the CORE of a small business network, meaning that it installs itself as the domain controller. So, no it would not be good to add to an existing network as a data server. However, by reingineering your network you could make good use of it's many other features, such as Exchange Server built in, SQL Server, and ISA Server (Firewall and Proxy), plus other little goodies like a shared fax service and shared modems.

NOTE: Check the product specs carefully, because SBS 2003 sells in an cheap version $599,which does NOT include ISA Server or SQL Server, and the full version $1499??? maybe which does include them.
