(VFP 6.0) I would like to call the command prompt and not have a command prompt screen pop up. There are some DOS calls I would like to make but they always pop up the command prompt window. This is annoying. I would like to supress the command prompt window from appearing at all. Is this possible? If not, is there a way to make the command call process in a minimized window on the task bar. For example, take the following command:

run ping google.com > log.txt

Is there any way I can execute this so it does not effect my desktop with a popup CMD prompt window? I am sure there is a quick fix I am missing here!
