When the PC is turned back on, the data in the PABX will not be transferred to the PC because the information stored in the PABX when the PC is off is gone/deleted. It seems that once the PC is turned on, it/Windows95 resets the PABX memory. I have already used com2autoassign=-1 command so that Windows95 will not reset the communication port. But, the command does not work. Do you have any suggestions for this problem ?

You may find that the act of switching the PC on will initiate a reset to the com ports (via bios). How about leaving the PC on? Or revive an old PC with lowest requirement for Win95 - this is what I have done for a monitoring system I have invented. 386dx40, 8Mb RAM (I know, I was surprised too!) polling for signals linked to other PCs via network - works fine!
