You know, I hardly ever play here anymore--too many idiots spouting their ego-driven twaddle all over the thread. What's the bottom line? All the big players are jumping ship: Whil Hentzen, Kevin McNeish (He's says he's not, but we can read between the lines.) Who's next?

By the way, I'm writing a brand-new system with VFP 8.0, and I expect to be busy for at least ten years. I do expect VFP will die someday, and I fully believe .NET will eventually thrive. But right now I'm happy to have a job. I've been immersed in VFP since 1994, and during that entire time I've always heard rumors of VFP's eventual demise. It's becoming a self-fulfilling prophesy, and I think half of you will be disappointed if it doesn’t happen!

Keep your hands up and protect yourselves at all times...

>Only when civil communication has broken down and you have let your emotions get the better of you. Once you lower the discussion to name calling, your point is totally lost. This is more like immature school yard behavior which should not be tolerated in any public forum. I would not consider it to be acceptable behavior in any civil discussion and those engaging in this should be ashamed of themselves. I think it is also against the rules of this forum and could lead to sanctions against those violating the rules.
