Hi Gerry. I am not sure what you are asking with "why":

If you are asking why as to coincidence then I think coincidence is overrated. Some eastern philosophies dont believe in it at all. There are very few popular VFP forums in the world. Many VFP developers are bound to meet in a place like this sooner or later. One could even write a little mathematical model which calculates the probability of any two VFP developers meeting each other in a VFP forum. I suspect its very high :)

If you are asking why iro having a discussion today rather than yesterday than I say there is no yesterday. Yesterday is a memory of a previous state of the world. It does not exist outside of your mind. It is not an external reality. We can only have a discussion in this moment.

If you are asking why as to the greater meaning of life I have no idea. Thats a question for theology and each person must find their own answers :)

If you are asking why as in why I am wasting your time then its because I am in between project modules so have "time" to spare :)

>I still think the most interesting question is "why" I am engaged with you in this discussion here and now (and not "yesterday" or "tommorrow") ... considering yesterday is long past, and tommorrow stretches into infinity. The fact that I'm aware of your existence at all is a hugh coincidence ... (to me).
