I need to create MDI parent form with ActiveX toolbar. The toolbar does not change form's client area so child windows can be moved over the toolbar.

AFAIK No. If you resize with API, when VFP repaint the form, it reset your changes.


or to prevent MDI child windows from moving out of specified area other than system client area?

MaxHight
MaxWidth

But this properties are not sufficient for all,
and have one or two bugs ( i see they many past months).
