I'm developing a C++ application that access a VFP database.

This applications includes a dialog box that has a pair of ActiveX controls: a DataGrid, and an associated ADO data source. I build the dialog box using the Visual C++ 6.0 dialog editor. In the editor, I set up the connection to the database by entering the ODBC data source name. This is actually required in order to properly configure the DataGrid.

However, at runtime, I want the option to have the user select alternative ODBC data sources. It isn't clear to me what how to tell the ADO what data source I'm using.

I'd appreciate some guidance on this.

Thanks,
Jim
