Elyse,

I don't go mucking around in the SCX very much anymore. But as long as all you were doing is adding code into an existing method already in the Methods memo, and using replace ObjCode with "" to empty it, then doing a COMPILE FORM on the form it should open up in the designer ok. But there are several other memos tracking things about what's in the Methods memo. For example I don't think you can change the order of the methods without altering one or more of the other memos.

Unless you've got a HUGE number of forms I think you are better off just opening them in the designer and editing the Init() method as needed.

>Unfortunately, I learned the hard way. Are you saying that if I wiped out the ObjCode field when I changed the Methods field everything would have been okay? I thought that might have been a problem, but when I wiped out the ObjCode (after seeing that my Methods were messed up) I lost ALL the Methods code. What should I have done? Can I manipulate the Methods from the SCX?
