Well this makes a pleasant diversion from hearing about the death of VFP and the problems with .Net.
Now, I'll take you to task on this a bit. You mention a creature that consists of just 1's and 0's and say that the state change from 0 to 1 would not matter to them? Isn't this a fundamental flaw in your argument, as for something that exists as a representation of binary data, the significance of changing from 0 to 1 is like turning on a lightbulb or being black or white? And would the significance of that state change be different if it were to happen in space, i.e. no gravitational effect?
