Hi,

I've got a situation where I have government forms with narrative sections and I use memo fields in the data entry screens for users to type the text.

On the printed form, I only have so much space to print the narrative and sometimes the text that has been entered exceeds the space available.

Conceptually, I think I just need to find out how much of the memo field will fit into the printed form and then print the rest of the text as a continuation sheet at the end of the print job.

I need to factor in carriage returns and who knows what else in order to figure out what will fit on the printed page. Has anyone already figured out this problem and have any code to share?
