Hi Jos,

Yes, you (and Mike) are right, and I am wrong. I seem to remember that there are (or were?) certain situations where DIRECTORY() gives a wrong answer, but I can not remember which. I believe DIRECTORY() did not accept UNC names in VFP6.0 and earlier versions.

Personally I have been so used to and fond of ADIR() that I always use it whenever possible.
