>maybe this is a crazy thing to achive but needs are needs.

>We have a Purchases system, and this system includes some authorization levels for purchase requisition, item requisitions, and others. now, when somebody of any department create a purchase requisition, this should be authorized by the head of department, now the boss should go to the system and run the option to see all the purchase requisitions(PR) to be aproved and aproves them or rejects them.
>
>the problem seems to be that the head of departments sometime are too lazy to get into the sytem and see that bunch, and I mean , a bunch of PR's and authorize them or decline them. or sometime it is because they ain't in the office at that time.
>
>But the solution could be this one: they always, and i mean always, check their email, this is something mandatory here. so We're thinking about sending an email everytime a PR is added in the system and withing the email or better well said , the email it self has some command buttons do accept, or decline, or something like this.
>
>I know this will result in a bunch of emails too, but at least they will se them and will have no excuse.

>is there any possibility to to this? with exchange? with outlook?

>TIA
You can send them an HTML formatted message that would have a form post to a local intranet/extranet website that could handle the responses.
You could also have a system that monitored an email account and they could reply to the message with a yes or no and the automated system could check their response and handle it accordingly.
You might find products on my site that could assist you with this.
