I can't say -- it's Whil's business and he has to run it as he sees fit.
That said, I know that VFP books sales have been very disappointing. When Whil publishes a book, he has to spend an enormous amount of money up front -- marketing, printing, tech and copy editing, etc. If that book then doesn't sell well, he is out that money. Since VFP book sales in general have been poor, I suspect he no longer wants to or can afford to spend that much money and not get it back, let along not receive a profit.
