It depends on how maintainable you want the project to be and the attention span of your user, more than a VFP limitation.

COmbining functionalty will reduce the number of containers. Sometmes, 5 forms worth of services will work in one form. Besides, nested modal forms can begin to look like a FP2.6 app in a hurry!

I've found myself creating alot of small forms with 2 or 3 controls on them to set up reports. Most of the time these are unique to the specific report, and can't be used universaly in the application.
