A Rewrite will not involve changing all those commands if you use remote views instead of the free tables as all FoxPro commands apply to views as they do to tables.

Having said that, it is not recommended that you use Go Top, Go Bottom on remote views becuase of performance concerns.

A Thorough approach should be made to see how much code can be reused and as much as possible. I would recommend prototyping on real data to see if using remote views with these commands can yield still somewhat acceptable performance and the for the most parts they will in forms, in reports, you may have to modify the code to speed it up.
