You can download the latest version of VFPCOM.DLL that works with VFP8 from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=1529819C-2CE8-4E89-895E-15209FCF4B2A.
In VFP8 you can use EVENTHANDLER() function for a COM server event binding.
