The Mere Mortals .NET Framework
Thank you for all of the extra attention given to vfp this week. I am sure that the use of "training wheels" in this situation will come in handy in other vfp situations. I would love to see the fix.
Have you given my custom data access class wizard for free fox tables a look yet. I use it often when connecting mm.net controls to old fox data.
Regards,
Neil

>>I am using the newest vfp that has the autoincement column. I tried to use the vfp autoincrement int to simulate the sql Identity columns. I am still getting an operator/operand error. Might the problem be in the oledb data provider for vfp? Do we have to create custom data classes?

>I spent most of the day yesterday on this one and it's definitely an issue with the VFP OLEDB Provider. I was able to get around the problem by putting "training wheels" on the ADO.NET code so the VFP OLEDB Provider didn't have to try to do automatic type conversions. This fix will be in the next version of MM .NET...please let me know if you need this sooner than later.
