Please let us know what you decide re getting VFP going on Linux, vs starting anew in a dedicated Linux tool. Are you contemplating PHP or Kylix or what? I had a staff member who swore by PHP and threw together database stuff as quickly as we used to in Fox... except everything was in a sort of collection and required explicit referencing. Those who leave VFP will remember SCAN FOR... WHILE... ENDSCAN with great fondness, I think.
