Gee, I really don't see how one person's comments can "bring vfp itself down." I think you're overreacting a bit. Man, it's like someone just said "Boo" and the VFP world screamed in terror.

I also don't think it's irresponsible behavior for Whil to post here an explanation of his reasoning. Do you prefer to pretend instead of hear someone's honest explanation, based on actual business numbers?

Sure, there might be a bit of paranoia or bitterness in some of the comments, but I accept Whil's explanation of his decisions and respect him for all the many contributions he has made to this community over the years.
