Whil: Nice letter and explanation of the business decisions you've made. Maybe some of the outrage and dissapointment that people have expressed is because you are so highly respected by the community! You've done more to further my knowledge of Foxpro than anyone I can think of with conferences and books. In reading your post, I hope people recognize the difference between saying that Foxpro is dead and the end is near vs. making a decision to go a different direction for compelling reasons.

I make my living with VFP and will continue to do so for the next several years.
