My Perl numbers come from the O'Reilly catalog. (www.oreilly.com) They publish a lot of computer books directed at the Open Source community as well as Unix and Windows. They are not the only publishers of books on Perl, but probably the largest.

The 1,000 copies for a popular VFP book came from a well known VFP author in another forum. I leave it up to them if they want to say here on the UT which book it is.

I do buy and use the electronic version of most of the VFP books. I tend to buy the paper version of Perl books.
