Greg,

You might want to look at using BCP to outload and then reupload the data into SQL. BCP works at thousands to 10s of thousands of rows per second depending mostly on the width of the rows.

>Does anyone know how to read a InterBase database? A client has a very large Interbase database (from unix), and wants it ported to SQL Server. All search reveal that a ODBC driver is needed. But the drivers I have found all require the a GDS32.dll be installed. The only place I have been able to locate this file is Borland / Interbase products. We are not interested in investing money into buying a full product just to get the driver for a one time uses.
