Correct me, if I'm wrong: FoxBase came out in 1984. Microsoft bought Fox SOftware in 1992. That's 8 years that Fox Software published FoxPro, but 12 years of Microsoft doing the same. People said in 1992 that Microsoft is killing FoxPro, yet they kept it alive 50% longer than Fox Software did. FoxPro is a product that is longer announced to be dead than it ever has been announced to be alive.

There's a lot you can say and criticize about Microsoft, but certainly not that they are killing FoxPro.
