Garrett, I'd been looking for a training course and/or self study guide geared toward the new WinArch tests. Glad to know about the above, it all seems to have been a big mystery until now, even my local ATEC didn't know anything last time I asked. Turns out our Borders store had it in stock, so here's some more info on it if you're interested.

The full title is Microsoft Windows Architecture for Developers Training Kit. Border's sku # is 5016383 (presumably the same at all Borders stores?). It's $99. That's the easy part... but here's what else you need to have installed in order to run it, in addition to the 100MB of your hard drive this puppy will suck up all by itself: Visual Basic 5.0 Enterprise Edition (sic), Internet Explorer 4.0, Front Page 98, Office 97 Professional, Visual Source Safe and Visual InterDev. In other words, go buy Visual Studio Enterprise Edition first. At least the Training Kit will run on Win95 as well as Win NT 4.0.

I guess there had better be big bucks in the MCSD arena, after shelling out for VSEE, the Training Kit, a new hard drive, the exams, etc. etc. etc.<g>
