Are you talking about the section of the article 3/4 of the way through it titled Digit substitution system? That looks like configuration setting that the user needs to do at the Windows O/S level. You can supply them information about how to make the setting or potentially find the registry entry (or entries there may be more than one involved) where this choice is stored and modify it. You can use the classes in _registry.vcx to help with the task.
