>I was able to get to this point through some serious internet digging and combined with what you have sent me I am 99% there. Two of the four paramteres pass and XML value that the cursortoxml() function creates. How/what data type would be specified to send these two value? Also what in this great earth of ours would make me want to change from the very simple ODBC method to this very coplicated OLE method?!? There has to be some good reasons but I am not getting to them yet. :)

What values CursorToXML() create ? You might need to pass an ADO.Stream depending on your stored proc. Why would you even need CursorToXML() or RsToCursor() etc
Anyways if you find ODBC very simple and works honestly I don't have a good reason to switch to ADO.
