I guess I see your points, and I've actually read more than just two VFP books myself.

Really though most of the time I'd rather just hunt the internet for a few minutes for a specific task I'm trying to acomplish than spend 4 or 5 hours reading a whole book.
You can search the e-book for a specific topic quite easily. I think that the only VFP book I ever sat down and read cover to cover was Whil's "Programming Visual FoxPro 3.0"
I might goto that one - I'm originally from Kansas City so its about as easy as it gets to keep the costs down.
