It _is_ consolation to know one is not allone on the high sea. But what if you do not know how to sail? In this Titanesque times this is not totally irrelevant ... :)

>I could see how that would be a problem. In my case I had address labels that had worked in dos for years. Went to VFP and all of a sudden the labels started shifting up the label half way thur the list. I had some 4 line address and some 5. Each line being a field and if they had no second line It was removed if blank. I had to build the whole address name and all on the report writer with the mother of all IIF(statements) to get it to work.
