The architecture is very similar between the two versions. I think you'll find it easy to move between the two, once you get used to the .NET-specific stuff. Some of the naming conventions have changed, and it's not just a direct port of MM/VFP. But, all the ideas and concepts in MM/VFP are in MM.NET.
